Hi all, im rather new to these forums and I need some help choosing the right armour and weapon.

I have an lvl 20 Ranger/ Monk and was wondering what the best armour would be for him? I know that warrior armour wouldn???t be able to be used on him I just need some better amour and am unsure on what to get/ find.

My second question was, what is the best weapon for a Ranger/ Monk I am using a bow that can do about 30-70 damage I will have to find out its name, but I don???t know what the best weapon would be? Sword, Axe, Bow etc?

I'm sure you will get a lot of different opinions, but IMO .....

best armor: druid armor, for the energy, from droks

best weapon: two or three max dmg. bows for different ranges/fire rates, etc. (long bow, short bow and possibly a medium range bow with some good mods)

Without warrior skills, it would be not a good idea to use a sword or axe. As quickmonty pointed out, have at least 3 weapon sets enabled: Short bow for close combat, long bow for pulling mobs, composite bow for interrupts.

If you are planning on actually using any monk skills other than resurrect, probably a good idea to get Druid's Armor for the extra energy. I'm not sure where you are in the game, but if you haven't gotten to Drok's yet, collector's armor in the desert is the same base armor. Not as cute, looks like presearing collector's armor, but it does the job better than anything else you could buy at that point.

but be aware that the armour costs quite alot at droknars forge.. also depends on wat the armour requires to be made coz some require really expensive rare material
